We get it — you're the queen of homemade and no one can de-throne the ultimate lifestyle empress…but someone's gonna try!
Martha Stewart is commenting on Gwyneth Paltrow's goopy lifestyle skills in a new interview, and it's not quite as pretty as one of her freshly baked apple pies!
Gwynnie started a lifestyle brand called Goop, which recently celebrated its 5 year anniversary, and when asked about the competitor brand, Martha's lackluster response says it all:
"I haven't eaten at Gwyneth's house, and I've never seen how she lives. But if she is authentic, all the better. I mean, I certainly hope she is. She really wants to be part of the lifestyle business."
Way harsh, Marth!
The domestic diva continued going on about the actress' mini-empire, and even threw in a semi-dig at the end:
"Gwyneth, for example, has a book on the best-seller list. She must be doing something right. She's a charming, pretty person who has a feeling for lifestyle. She wants to be a lifestyle arbiter. Fine. Good. I think I started this whole category of lifestyle."
The crafty claws are out, and this whole mess is about to get stickier because we believe Martha may feel threatened!
No word from Gwyneth, but we're hoping she'll take the high road and not comment!
